Can I use Maxilock on my wool soaker?

Hi all,

Please pardon me if this has been addressed before. I cut out and dyed my wool interlock/wool jersey (can't remember which one as I bought it years ago). I had felted it prior. I am using the Katrina's pattern, and am excited to sew my soakers up.

Can I use the Maxilock thread on the cones for sewing them? Will it wick?

Also, after I felted my wool; it literally looks like a piece of craft felt/quite trim. Will it work for soakers? It just doesn't look like much protection KWIM?

Yes you can use maxilock on your wool soakers since it is polyester thread. It works fine. The felted piece will work also, but double check to make sure you have some stretch left. HTH!

There is considerable stretch. Can't wait to sew them up. I'll have to post pics
