Red face I broke my pedometer

Yes, I did. I think the 28,000 steps on Saturday did it. Just cracked. LOL That's a good thing, right? Better than splitting my pants!

Re: I broke my pedometer

ok, i just joined your exercise accountability this last week and noticed you all use pedometers. sounds fun and interesting. my elliptical trainer does everything but count steps. maybe it does....i'll check when i exercise later. anyway, i went on ebay to get one (inexpensive) and got overwhelmed. i mainly just want to count the steps and wondered a good yet affordable brand. thanks!

Re: I broke my pedometer

The one I have is a New Lifestyles Digi-Walker. They have various models, from pretty basic to pretty complicated. This is the brand that Penn State uses for my exercise study, so they must think they're pretty good. I got mine from the university for free, so I have no idea what it cost.

Their website is: New-Lifestyles.com

That's funny! I've lost a few like that. The one I'm wearing right now made it through the washer and dryer. gotta like that!
