Share how you make your almond milk...

Do you use the water you soak the nuts in, or rinse and use new water?

Do you add any sweeteners or vanilla?

This would be almond milk for an 18 month old if that makes a difference.

i do it a couple of ways. i usually don't use the soaking water, although i always wonder why, as i pour it down the drain... if i'm making milk that will primarily be used for cereal (= most of the time), I just blend the nuts and water. if i am feeling fancy, or know it will be drunk or made into ice cream, i add agave and a bit of salt, and possibly some lecithin.
for a kid, i would definitely do it the fancy way.
