I'm feeling the guilt

I truly empathize. I had to stop breastfeeding at 4 weeks because of a horrid MRSA infection in my breast that lead to surgery etc. etc. It is very hard to give up the romantic ideas you had about breastfeeding. I even re-lactated when DD was 3 months but she completely rejected the breast. All of the guilt and turmoil wasn't worth it. The sooner you can take a deep breath and realize what a devoted mother you are the better for you and your baby. Don't be afraid to see a counselor if you need to. That is something I wish I had done to help me move on more quickly. Best of luck!
