I thought they were good? Are they bad? Can you give me links so that I know why? Of course I just bought 2 big cans of Good Start Supreme!

i was under the impression they were good...but its not in our formula....dd is on super special kinds

I don't know what thread it was in now, but I really thought I saw someone say that they're bad and that they avoid formulas with them. I have another question... if they are bad and you avoid formulas that have them, is there some other way to supplement for them? I know you can get fish oil supplements, but are there any that are okay for infants?

i give my ds (almost 6) a dha suplament but he is six...not a baby..so idk

There was a working group's report saying that they basically don't act like the omegas do in our body and that they in fact give a percentage of babies upset stomachs. Talking to the company that manufacturers the DHA/ARA that gets added, they said they know that it isn't synthesized/used in the body like natural stuff but that the formula companies want to use it anyways for marketing purposes.... Check out the news forum. I'm pretty sure it is in there twice!

Yes if you google it I think you will find the posts about it. After researching myself I will NOT be using formula with them.
