Re: Sibling bed?

What a great thread! It's funny how things come back around (or never leave). My parents (somewhat older) and grandparents would all have been in sibling beds because it was so common. Now it's a semi big thing (for some). I dated a guy (before DH!) who was divorced with two kids. Each had their own room, but DD would sometimes climb in with her brother or her dad at night. She was like 3-4 and DS was 6-7 I think. I "slept over" one night only to wake up to his DD on the other side of him! oops. LOL.
I've certainly thought about #2 (whenever that happens) sharing with #1 as we don't have another room. Sibling bed might happen, you never know...

Re: Sibling bed?

we cosleep until they move out. #1 was in our bed when #2 moved to a side-car arrangement. They napped together in our bed always (well in-arms for the first year). At almost 2yrs and almost 3 yrs they were always napping together in a twin bed in the "kids room" and soon they slept together all night. They are 6 and 7 now and still sometimes sleep together. Our 3 yr old is starting his nights with a sibling and coming in with us later now. He's making his move, and by summers end I expect to miss the little guy.

Re: Sibling bed?

Hey, great responses, ladies! I think my little ones will love snuggling together at night. They are very close and I want to foster that!
