No, he hasn't said his head hurts.

You know my opinion already, but I'll add it to the pot here anyway. I don't think he warrants another trip to the doc. It sounds like he needs some down time to get this out of his system for good.

And yes, I would absolutely cancel the party.

hugs mama! Get a second look. My guess is he has a migraine....or a serious sinus infection that was missed.
Hope you get it fixed in the am.

Also, with stomach bugs they can get what's called gastritis. Basically the stomach lining is gone and anything that goes in will irritate it. I found giving my kids an antacid (either kids tums, rolaids etc.) helped a lot.

to your family!

My initial response with sensitivity to light, vomiting, and just not himself is a migraine. Even the stomach pain could be a migraine. And it could last this long too. (I'm currently in week 2 of a migraine that's had every drug in the book thrown at it.) Maybe try a cold cloth on the back of his neck and see if that helps anything?
I might not cancel the party but I'd definitely keep it low key and try to keep him down.
Poor little guy!

Ok, stupid me didn't even know kids could get migraines. I get migraines, so I know how miserable they are. In fact, I had one yesterday. Mine usually only last 4-8 hours, thankfully, and aren't severe to the point of vomiting. Definitely something to consider.

My mom mentioned appendicitis. My brother had it, and she said he would get a low-grade fever, throw up and have extreme pain, then the next day he'd be fine. Then it would happen again. It took his appendix rupturing and him almost dying for the doctors to figure out what was wrong. I think it's rare in kids this young, but so is strep.

This morning: said he felt fine. Ate some crackers, then said his tummy hurt and he has a 99.4 temp. Keeps gagging like he's going to throw up. He did poop yesterday, so it's not a blockage.

If he has sores or anything in his throat, he will gag and make himself throw up.

Sometimes my dd would get these large white pus sores behind her tonsils and she would throw up constantly. She was much younger than your son though, and couldn't tell me there was someing in her throat. She had her tonsils out at 11 months.

It's realllly hard without a doctor to hold him down and use a gagger stick, but could you try to look with a flashlight and a gagger to see into his throat?

Otherwise, I wouldn't even bother taking him in, since they didn't find anything the first time. I doubt they will find anything now.
