Re: Cutting your dc's hair?

DD was about 8 months old when I cut her bangs. It really needed it at about 4 months, but I was trying to wait until 1 year to do it. But she wouldn't keep barrettes in and it was always in her eyes. She has had them cut at the salon about 4 times since then and she is 18 months.

She needs the back of her hair cut since it looks like she has a mullett! LOL She has a V that goes down to the middle of her back, but it is only about an inch wide! I'm too scared to cut it so I just pull her hair up so you don't notice it too much!

Re: Cutting your dc's hair?

Dd is 21 months old and she has never had her hair trimmed or cut! It is long and goes in her face if not put up. We usually do a ponytail or a clip to the side.

Re: Cutting your dc's hair?

DS is 14 months and we haven't cut his hair yet. It's long (over his collar by a couple inches in the back, and his mohawk after his naps is about 5 inches high - lol) but it's SO soft and wispy...I just love to play with it, so I am being selfish and keeping it long for now.

Re: Cutting your dc's hair?

ds didn't get his first haircut unti he was 2yrs, right around his bday. He had the most beautiful ring curls, which I have saved It was kinda sad he went from this adorable baby boy to this I'm a little boy/man look

ds is only 8 mo and I won't let DH touch him, even though the hair around ds's ears bugs DH. DS isn't complaining so

Re: Cutting your dc's hair?

I really don't remember how old dd was, but all we do is trim her bangs when they get long. I would love to let it grow out, but the hair on the top of her hair grows forward, it will not go back, it will not part, nothing. It even looks horrible if I try to put it in a ponytail, so this is what we do for now.

Ds is losing his hair, so not cutting yet.

Us either. Ds has pretty long hair. Long enough for a ponytail, don't ask how I know.... But his hair is so curly it stays up and out of the way.
