Re: OB says to stop nursing- HELP!

Thank you sooo much everyone! WHat a comfort to know that I am right and she is misinformed. I am not high risk at this point and never had problems in my first pregnancy and if there were any sign of danger I would consider it. But right now I am going to take your advice. Find out more, bring it to her and just do what I want to anyway!

Re: OB says to stop nursing- HELP!

I just successfully nursed a toddler through my pregnancy and now I am tandem nursing my newborn and toddler. Honestly I feel that your OB is in the wrong- it might be just easier to not tell her that you are continuing your nursing. The book Adventures in Tandem Nursing is a great one to read at this time. You are doing the best for your babies and you are not robbing your unborn of nutrition. Just make sure you are eating enough good foods and taking your vitamins. Good Luck!

I would definately watch out for the cramping. I had a momma in a LLL group that was trying hard to tandem nurse and she kept MC. She had to stop nursing so she could get pregnant and stay pregnant.
