GAS...

It's horrible! I tried looking for a thread already covering this but I couldn't...so I've been having some bad gas lately...makes my stomach cramp! I didn't have this until my 3rd trimester with my last pregnancy...does anyone have any ideas how on to relieve it? *besides farting! * anything you eat make it worse or better? Any tips appreciated! Thanks!

take gas pills? mylanta gas? theyre chewable.
i remember the horrible gas and i think it started before 3rd tri..lol
i remember reading everyones suggestions, i was form a birth board so all the mamas were due when i was and one of them suggested just get on the floor or bed on your belly *put your booty in the air and chest to the ground and let gravity take care of it..LOL

If you take the gas pills be careful. I crave taco bell when I'm pregnant so that makes for a lot of gas One of my nurses told me not to take those pills because "that will sure enough bind ya up". I like the rump in the air idea! Sorry you are so uncomfortable, I know it can hurt.

Do yoga! A yoga pregnancy video would be perfect. That will work it out and make you feel better. Raw veggies gave my issues while pg, but I don't wanna tell you to stay away from something do nutrition packed and good for ya!

Walking or any other movement will help the gas move out of your system faster. Also, drinking a glass of water will help. When sleeping try to lye on your left side your colon points that way and it will be easier for the gas to pass in your sleep. Obviously avoid foods that you know give you gas. Good luck! I know it can be a pain in the a**. (pun intended)
