I have the BBLP and the potty bucket. I started my baby on the potty bucket at 3 months and he has been doing really well. I intended the BBLP for him too, but my 2.5 year old took interest in it. I got the fleece cover for it, and next thing I knew, he was pottying on it. This week has been the best week. I've let him have naked time, and he's been going over to the potty and going without any prompting. Hopefully it will continue.
