Wool over pockets?
We are a pocket family. DD also co-sleeps and if the night time dipe leaks, we are all wet.
I am always looking for PJs that fit over her night time dipes so I was thinking about maybe trying some longies over her BGs, I have never tried wool, so I know NOTHING about it. Is there any reason that I shouldn't use wool over PUL?I have to admit part of my reasoning here besides the obvious of not wanting to be pee'd on at night is I really want to try wool to see what the hype is all about, but because my DH is a SAHD there is no way we can switch to fitteds or prefolds.

Re: Wool over pockets?
My only suggestion would be is to be careful if you have aplix or touchtape b/c it will catch on the wool and make it fuzzy. But otherwise I would!

Re: Wool over pockets?
We use wool over pockets all the time. ESPECIALLY overnight. It's great for extra protection.

DH is putiing our wool over them until I can get some fitteds here. He HATES the snappi. We haven't had any trouble. My DH is a SAHD, too

Re: Wool over pockets?
But, you must remember, a wool cover is only as good as the diaper under it. If your LO is soaking through the diaper, you should add some extra absorbency too. I'd suggest an interlock soaker, rather than longies.

) and she leaks through the legs. I was thinking about longies that way they could double as PJ pants. Our house is too cold (winter and summer) for her to not have something on her legs at night. So in reality we wouldn't be using them as a soaker, make sense? So do you think that longies would still be ok like that? I also can't afford really nice pretty ones, so I would just have to buy the cheapest I could find that would fit her.
