Quick Reply button?

For some reason I am having a problem with the quick reply button, it simply doesn't work at all!! I have to use the quote button or the go advanced button. Why is this happening? Anyone know?

Re: Quick Reply button?

mmm, dunno. It works fine for me. I'm assuming it has something to do with the settings on your computer/browser since that feature uses some extra technologies that could be disabled (ajax...but I'm not sure what that entails exactly).

Re: Quick Reply button?

So what does happen when you click on the little pencil icon? Does the computer freeze or give you an error? Or just nothing changes like clicking a broken link?

ETA: I used to get error messages and had to have my hubby adjust the browser settings...

Nothing has changed on my laptop... I've been using the same laptop with the same settings for months I also can't use the smilies unless I type it in. It just does nothing at all... Hmmm... I'll have DH look at it.

Re: Quick Reply button?

I just downloaded firefox and it completely fixed all the issues I was having with this site. I didn't have IE7 and DH said websites are starting to write their sites so that you have to have IE7 or it won't load/work properly. I downloaded firefox because I hate IE7 and now everything works
