The only time I had repelling I got the pocket dipes wet, then gave each a scrubbing with a tiny bit of Dawn (I used a nail brush to scrub). Hand rinsed till the majority of bubbles were gone then did a couple plain hot washes. No repelling since then. I was using Sportwash. Quit after that.
