Seam sealer - what is it, where do you buy

I read somewhere and can't find the original post that you can seal PUL seams if your having leaking. Has anyone tried this? What did you buy? Where did you find it?

Thank you!

You can get a waterproof spray at Walmart in the camping section. They also had a seam sealer in a glue stick like thing. I think the spray would be easier to use though.

The spray won't work for even the tinyest of holes. It only works for the minute holes in the weave of the fabric. To seal holes, you can use FrayBlock or Fabri-Tac. Both are clear going on. Fray-Block is way thinner and dries softer. Fabri-Tac is more of a glue consistency and used to piece things together. I used Fabri-Tac that has been diluted with Acetone (read the label on the back of the glue for directions) and apply it to the INSIDE of the diaper at the seams. Both are meant to withstand machine washings. I would always apply the glue from the inside.

i always bought a seam sealer from walmart in the camping section, it was a roll on liquid and works GREAT on tents...haven't had the occasion to use it on dipes, but i would think it would work really well

You can get Fabri-Tac and Fray Block from both Walmart and Joanns. You'll find the Fabri-Tac in the craft/glue section and the Fray Block is with the sewing supplies.
