Diaper Swappers

I have only been cding for about 2 months. I thought I was doing everything right but today when I opened the washer, I saw a lot of soap bubbles still there. I am now in the middle of my 5th rinse cycle and there are still bubbles. Help. What is the best way to wash diapers? Right now I am using kissiluv fitteds. I have been doing a cold rinse cycle and then a hot cycle with 1/2 cup baking soda and about 3 TBS of detergent. I guess I will keep doing rinse cycles until this load comes out with no soap bubbles, but what should I do differently in the future?

Try reducing your detergent to 2 TBS. I also do a cold rinse, hot wash and then a cold rinse where I check to make sure all the bubbles got out. What kind of detergent are you using?

I always do an extra rinse.

This time I used Sam's Club brand. I had the same problem last week when I used Dreft. I think I may try to get some sportwash this weekend. That seems popular here.

i had this same problem--i just kept rinsing until i got clear water-it took about 2.5 wash cycles. i dont use baking soda just detergent about 1/4 of a cup. maybe try less bakibg soda? ggod luck

We've got the Sam's Club stuff and I have no issues with it. We do about a spoon-ful of it...I even have a plastic spoon marked "Diaper Scoop" for The Husband so he knows how much to use. LOL
