I think my ds has an ear infection. Has anyone gotten rid of an ear infection WITHOUT using antibiotics? If so, what did you use? I would really like to avoid getting a prescription for him, but I will if I can't figure something else out really soon!

my old ped treated them w/ breastmilk and garlic oil. she said that many infections are viral and antibiotics won't help. most kids can beat a bacterial infection w/o antibiotics. she used antibiotics if then infection lasted a long time, the child was lethargic, and the mom thought it was time to try antibiotics.
