Confused

I am 5 days late, I took a test the first day of my missed perdiod, one of the dollar store ones, it was negative, today I thought I was getting AF but its just some spotting, I dont even need a pad...whats going on? Im usually right on time with AF and I have a good flow, sorry for being so graphic! Im just really confused, I dont know if I should test again, wait a few days.....

I was really hoping for a BFP this month

Maybe your AF is butting off because you keep hoping for pregnancy ?
Or maybe your stressed out ???

Or maybe you just ovulated late and the light bleeding might be implantation?

Do you chart so you know when you ovulated so you can see if possibly you did ovulate late?
