yeast smell?

I've noticed that my breastpads often have a "yeasty" type smell to them after wearing for a few hours. I can't remember ever noticing anything like that with DS. I'm having no issues with anything (it's going beyond fantastically, actually!), just this funny smell on my breastpads. They're hemp... is it that? I have no idea!

Re: yeast smell?

hmmmm not sure haven't had that but it may just be a "sour milk smell" from a bit of leaking onto your pads and perspiration from you. maybe change more often and if possible go with no bra and a big T-shirt at home or no shirt if possible. (air is best for our bre*st ) we naturally have yeast on our skin KWIM? it doesn't mean you have an infection. I'm not sure about hemp but it's naturally an anti-fugal though. maybe someone else will chime in....

That's what I figured it probably was, but thought I would ask if anyone had any definitive answers!
