2 lb. lean ground turkey
1 pkg. (6-1/4 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix, any variety
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
Easy Meat Loaf Recipe Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Mix the ground beef, eggs stuffing mix and 1/4 off the barbeque sauce in a large mixing bowl. Form the mixture into an oven dish that is 13x9. Spread the remaining barbeque sauce on the top of the easy meat loaf and place in the oven. Cook for about 1 hour, let sit for 5 minutes and serve the easy meat loaf.

You can also bake in muffin tin - bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until center is no longer pink.

Re: Good meatloaf recipe

My friend gave me this recipe and it is the ONLY meatloaf my dh will eat now! It's honestly the best I've ever had. Super easy, too.

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
8 crushed soda crackers
salt & pepper to taste

1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar

Combine ground beef, onion, milk, egg, crackers, salt and pepper and mix well. Place in large loaf pan and make a groove down the center of loaf. In a bowl, combine ketchup, water, mustard, and brown sugar. Pour over meat and bake at 350F for 1 hour; drain. Serve with baked potatoes and a green vegetable. Serves 4-6.

Re: Good meatloaf recipe

This is the recipe we use:

While we like the "freeform" they suggest, our little one is really keen on having his "mini loaf". See what I mean here:

Re: Good meatloaf recipe

My meatloaf has been a big hit....SO's Mom even stopped making hers (she used rolled oats and it was really dry). SO asks for it twice a week.
I use:
ground turkey (we use this instead of ground beef for everything)
wheat thins (store brand)
canned diced tomatoes
onion diced (if we have it)
lawry's garlic salt
squirt of ketchup
squirt of mustard

i never measure anything I also cut up potatoes and carrots, i put the meat loaf in my big 6 quart deep round pot and put potatoes on 1 side carrots on the other and cook for about 1 hour on 400 until done (check with meat thermometer).

There are 5 adults and a toddler in this house and no matter how much i make there is never enough.

Re: Good meatloaf recipe

I make a frosted meatloaf, we call it "boston meatloaf' due to dh and dd not listening to me one day. I make a meatloaf with ground beef, ketchup, egg, lipton onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, a can or two of corn, and whatever seasonings i fancy at the time. Once it is cooked, I take it out and 'frost' it with mashed potatoes and shreded cheese. I then put it under the broiler to crispy up the outside of the mashed potatoes.
It is a huge hit here.
I am said to work wonders with ground meat. I also have the best sheperds pie around!
