Milk supply running low after 2 yrs. of nursing.

My 26 MO DD nurses just twice a day and doesn't seem to get much - only about 5 minutes on a side before my breasts feel like they are being sucked dry so I have to ask her to stop
we are both saddened by the dwindeling supply

any suggestions?
or is this Mother Nature's way of weaning slowly?

Oh... maybe its because she doesn't nurse very often? Only twice per day?

thanks Tangy
but for those two times we both would like to be able to nurse a little longer
if she is tired she usually ends up crying when it runs out so I get her a sippy of warm milk to supplement

Could you add another nursing session in the day sometime? Maybe that might get a bit more milk coming?

Are you pregnant? That can make the milk dry up. Otherwise try the usual drink more water, try eating oatmeal, hm... Is it your time of month? That can make a difference as well and if its that you can try taking calcium I think? It should bounce back if thats it. Hugs!
