post pregnancy belly skin discoloration

What the heck is this? At 10 weeks post baby i still have the line from the belly button to crotch but also there is this discoloration. I don't think it is stretch marks cause those showed up pinkish on me. The discoloration is darker brown tiny spots on my belly where it was really badly stretched.
Also, my belly where it was stretched badly feels like crepe paper and has less feeling in it than the "healthy" not so stretched skin around it. I can really pinch that area and it doesn't even hurt. I don't remember any of this with dd and all i had then was some stretching and the line down the belly. What is up with this?

I know exactly what you're talking about. With this previous pregnancy, the "linea nigrea" didn't go away until she was almost 4 months old....gosh, it was so embarassing trying to hide that thing all summer!!! And then my skin, the whole lower area, I peeled for about 4 1/2 months, the skin was course and I could rub off the top layer. It was SO gross. I started using shea butter on it and it helped a ton!!!

I totally remember that. My belly is still numb in areas after DS. The discoloration didn't really go away for a few months.
