Re: question about BOY potty learners
Our son is only allowed to stand up in public bathrooms. I refuse to clean up urine around our toilets! Both he and DH sit in our house. To me it seems more respectful...probably because I'm the one on my knees near the toilet during pregnancy

Re: question about BOY potty learners
My boys PL'd at 18 mo but didn't start standing until 2-2.5 (DS1- DS2 rarely stands). It's a PITB when they're too little to even reach the toilet for them to stand (although both loveeee to pee outside)

Re: question about BOY potty learners
we started with sitting down and that's mostly what ds is doing. but from time to time he likes standing up with big toilets. i think it's because he prefers to stand instead of trying to sit on the big toilet at grandma's. he peed on the lid last time but we just clean up the mess and move on. luckily he goes sitting most of the time. i think it helps that dh also goes sitting down.
