Does a trainer like this exist?
My DD has been pee potty trained for a month, but still refuses to poop on the potty. So I am looking for a trainer that isn't waterproof, has very little or no padding, but has snaps. Basically I am looking for underwear with snaps. Right now I am using fuzzi bunz without an insert. I hate doing this because I am wearing out my fuzzi bunz. Any ideas? TIA

Re: Does a trainer like this exist?
I can think of quite a few non-waterproof trainers with snaps- you could probably get anyone who makes them to do a custom order with no soaker.
When I was in your shoes, we just kept using the Imse Vimse trainers without snaps. It wasn't that bad. Good luck! My daughter was dry for 2 months before she decided to start pooping in the potty.

Re: Does a trainer like this exist?
Hmm, the Imse Vimse are like padded underwear -- a bit thicker, but not super absorbent. Enough to absorb a tablespoon or so of an "oops" but not a whole bladderful.....I just put my daughter in regular underwear and washed/bleached that, instead of using diapers, and that seemed to work for us, as long as the underwear are reasonably snug. Unless she has very liquidy poop, I think you really just need a "container," for lack of a less-gross word, to hold the poop for a few minutes, rather than something very absorbent.

find someone who makes fitted diapers that normallly have a snap in soaker -- and ask them to just skip the soaker and the snaps for it!

You could use Simple Simon trainers without the insert. Also, Little Beetle Learners have snaps, but I'm not sure how thick they are.

Re: Does a trainer like this exist?
I make Side Snap Trainers that I'd be happy to customize as far as sizing and absorbency. Just let me know if you're interested.
