Re: Diapers for Day Care use?

I use Daisy Doodles AIO and the occasional stuffed Fuzzi Fannie. The DD are aplix and fit into the diaper area just like a 'sposie because they are so trim. I give them only aplix or touch tape diapers so they are quick and easy to change. I provide them with a smallish wetbag thattake 4-5 diapers.

We've had no problems. I was using CD on the same conditions and I think that DD are the most like 'sposies for ease of changing and trimness.

I would imagine any pocket (prestuffed) or all in one should be super easy!!

Re: Diapers for Day Care use?

We use pre-stuffed BumGenius diapers. My daycare person LOVES them. She says they are as easy for her as disposables. In the past I have used rumpsters, Happy Heiney's, Bugz Fuzz pockets (out of business), some random other diapers (AIO's or pockets) and, with a previous daycare, used trifolded prefolds in a Bummi Super Whisper Wrap. All were doable but the BG's have been, by far, the favorite.

Re: Diapers for Day Care use?

The only reason I wouldn't do fitteds and cover is:

1)sometimes the diaper can get SERIOUSLY soaked, and the person would have to touch the pee part (the diaper got soaked all the way up to the snaps). that might be considered "unsanitary".

2)they might forget the cover!...what a mess that would be!

At first my daycare was 100% ok with prefolds and covers. when i first said that I used CD's, she said. Ok, well bring enough diapers and a couple of covers!
