I never did the bottle...just weaned to the sippy cup. I don't remember when I first introduced it, but definitely by 9 months.

DD reached for my water glass, put her mouth on it, and tipped it back at 7 months.. and I realized it was time for her to get her own sippy cup! I don't pump so it's always just been water in her cup.. she doesn't drink that much anyway and I'd hate to waste the milk. It's more for fun and practice!

I started all of my kids on sippy cups about 12 months. Went straight from the breast to a sippy on 3 of the 4.
