I want to make some goodies for my neighbors, and one of my neighbors a couple of their kids are alergic to eggs, milk, peanuts (i think that is it) but so many recipes call for all of those things does anyone else have to deal with this and if so I need some yummy treat recipes that I can make for them special. Thanks!

Look for vegan recipes that don't call for nuts. My fav web site for vegan recipes is www.vegweb.com

Darn! My son used to be allergic to eggs and wheat and peanuts..but outgreww all but the peanuts,,but when he was little i experimented and came up with my own egg/wheat/peanut free chocolate chip cookies but cannot fine it! Anyway..we make these alot, as cupcakes or a cake..

wacky cake
3C flour
2C sugar
2/3 C cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
2C cold water
2 tsp vanilla
2tsp vinegar
1C oil

mix all dry ingredients and make 3 holes in the dry mix, add water, vanilla and vinegar to the holes and then add the oil and beat til smooth..bake at 350 for 35 minutes in an ungreased 13x9 pan or about 18 minutes for cupcakes..my kids love them
