How long does this last??
Engorgement?? DD weaned off the bottles 3 weeks ago and I have been weaning off the pump since then. I dropped my last session on Saturday, and have been pump free since then.
My question is how long will I have this engorgement?? I have tried cabbage leaves and cold packs, but it is KILLING me!! Any ideas??

Re: How long does this last??
I can't answer for total weaning, but DD started sleeping through the night at only 3 weeks old, and it took several months before I wasn't engorged in the morning anymore.
Keep up w/ the cabbage & ice and take an anti-inflammatory (like ibuprofen) if you need to. It will come to an end.

Re: How long does this last??
Generally about a week maybe 2. Use cabbage leaves and wear a snug bra. When you shower, don't let the water hit directly on your breasts- it kinda gives them the 'let-down' signal.
