So how do I cut dairy and wheat from our diet?
It has been suggested that I cut wheat and dairy from my son's diet for two weeks to see if I notice any behavior changes, but honestly this sounds impossible. I know how to do dairy; but have NO IDEA about the wheat, my ds loves bread, okay and so do I, any advice and REALLY EASY receipes needed! I want to get a game plan before I start this. Also, they want us to cut dyes also. So this cuts out MOST of the food that my family eats!

Re: So how do I cut dairy and wheat from our diet?
I am a wheat sensitive person who barely has any wheat in her diet. It's been like this for about 3 years now. I've recently "fallen in love" with rice noodles! Find them in the Asian section of your grocery store. I've made spaghetti with them, cold pasta salads, and my own "special" olive oil/garlic sauce with vegetables and chicken to go over the noodles. They take about 2 minutes to cook once the water is boiling - it's very fast. Also, there are also some corn and rice noodles out there that are really good. It's difficult at first, but, it can be done. There are also some specialty breads such as rice bread that are very dry but toast up nice!

Re: So how do I cut dairy and wheat from our diet?
In our family we have dietary restrictions, one being dairy and the other is wheat
![]() Soy is the milk subtitute and rice is the normal wheat substitute. Rice flours make up the bulk of it. The Gluten Free Pantry: http://glutenfreepantry.com/ is WONDERFUL! The brownies are out of the world! ![]() Pastas are replaced with quinoa, rice and corn based pasta's. Also, be careful as wheat is a filler for MANY foods including hot dogs. Just read the labels carefully and go from there. ![]()
