Wool pad for night time?

So I am still having to nurse ds 3 or more times a night, and I know I would get more sleep if I could nurse him laying down and not have to change him each time. But if I do that I wake up in a puddle thus loosing more sleep as I rouse dh and ds1 and we strip and recover the bed. So I am changing my night time diapers, but as an extra precaution I would like to find a waterproof pad to lay ds2 on while he sleeps. I don't like the lap pad style ones because they get hot and itchy at night so I was thinking maybe wool or lambskin? What works and where can I get it?

Tobias sleeps with me and I don't change him during the night. I don't know if it would work for you guys but I put a fleece blanket under him, it's a thick fleece, baby blanket bought at Sears.

The very few times his night time dipe has leaked my bed has still been dry!

The army surplus wool blankets work as great puddle pads!

What about one of those sheepskins? We have a changing table size one that would be perfect for that sort of use. They sell them on amazon.com as well if you're not sure where to find one.
