activities for 1 year olds?

I ditto the ripping paper stuff. My daughter's been tearing up stuff since she was about 4 months old. I can't even leave any of her hard baby books, because she will tear them up. We've lost 3 good books that way. I usually give her our junk catalogs and let her go to town for a while. Other than that, my daughter is very good at playing and finding things to occupy herself. We have playtime through out the day together, she LOVES her shaper sorter, I swear we'll sit there for 30 minutes doing it over and over again lol She also loves her little play stroller, she flips it over and pretends to work on the wheels lol
