Need Advice... Trying to go all organic/vegan
How do I go both organic and vegan? Being vegan means no aminal products, including milk and cheese, right? How can I ensure that my DS is healthy when we're vegan?
What kinds of foods do you make? Need recipe ides please! Thanks! |

Re: Need Advice... Trying to go all organic/vegan
I'm not vegan, but the Moosewood Cookbook series has lots of vegetarian recipes that can be made vegan. Also, the book "Uprisings" has lots of healthy baking recipes many of which are vegan. Check your library. Also if you have food co-op or health food store, they sometimes have recipes.
I just wanted to note how important fats are for brain development in babies, so it is really important that you find many sources of healthy fats, they need way more than we do. Also make sure you are including sources of protein. |
