i think sawyer would be cute for a girl! however daisy is uhm, well i don't like it one bit, it sounds WAY too country.. if your dh insisted on your dd's name..then maybe you should insist on naming this one?

Daisy, not so much. Sawyer, I like it, but it is pretty trendy now with the whole Lost thing.

I agree with a PP, if he insisted on naming the first one, you get FULL naming rights for the second. it is NOT fair if he insisted on Brooke and disregards your naming 'rights'.

Well how it worked was... he wanted Brooke and I said I like Brookelynn Star because Brooke is so popular. We agreed... then after my 10 hours of labor he INSISTED that she be Brooke Lee. So.... yeah. I thought I should get total naming rights this time... but I also don't want him to feel left out in the baby thing because he doesn't get the joys of carrying the child or staying home with the kids... ect.

you could let him do the middle name, or you could find a name you both like, my dh wanted much say in our naming process too.. but we both love both of our LO's names...it shouldn't be me vs you! its about both of you..

Not a fan of daisy at all. Maybe cute on an infant, not an adult. And Sawyer is way too popular, imo. but it's a nice name.

Daisy reminds me of Jessica Simpon's dog, which in turn reminds me of the dumb blond, and her horrible movie Dukes of hazard. So not really good conotations. I would suggest looking at other names. There are lots of flowers that can be names and have good nicknames. (magnolia=Maggie)
If you don't like Sawyer, then you are not going to be happy. 50% of your DNA is this child and you are housing them and then going through labor! Therefore, your vote should count for atleast 51%, giving you the majority and the final say. Your dh pretty much decided on the first kid, you should be able to on this one!!!

Daisy is not my style at all. I like Sawyer (for a boy or a girl) but I do think its got potential to become pretty trendy.

I could NEVER let my dh *insist* on a name for our child. No way. If we both didnt want the name it didnt get used.

I love the name sawyer. It was on my list of names but we decided on Thayer (th-ay(long a sound)-er). I think sawyer works great for a child and adult.
