ETA: Amazingly, we did not have problems with her waking up during the night since the transition. It's just taken longer to get her to go to sleep. I think part of the problem is that I suddenly started lying down with her til she went to sleep, which is not something we did before, so it was a bit of a novelty for her and possibly was keeping her up longer. Now that she's more secure with the arrangement, she's back to falling asleep on her own in bed.
That's all good stuff to know Carrie. I hope Riley sleeps ok after he goes into the 'big boy' bed.

Re: Toddler beds??

we co-sleep, but i want to transition hi to a toddler bed soon. when they can climb up and down from something like a bed/couch would be a good sign they could handle it, make sure you have a rail.
