Please Help Me Decide

What to buy! I think the lack of sleep lately is making me totally indecisive. I have two DSs, one 4 months (Rian) and one 18months (Brady). Brady's stash is complete. I use wool, 6 toddler pfs and 12 kissaluvs w/ doublers (just a kl is not enough absorbancy) for him. He also has two fbs for going out. Rian has outgrown his infant stash. I had him in pfs and bsww during the day and fbs at night. Now he is way too big for the infant pfs and the premiums I saved that were Bradys are too bulky on him but I'm trying to make them work. Rian also kinda sorta fits in Brady's size 2 kissaluvs- we are usually putting him in those and a pair of Brady's longies. But I only have 12 size two kls- so not enough for them to share. And the longies are too long. I still have Rian in the small fbs at night and they are leaking every night. I need to do something fast but I hate making hasty decisions so if you could help me make one that would be great.
Some other things: I like my kls but don't want to buy anymore as they have worn a lot in the 9 months I've had them. I like my llamajamas but they too have worn too much in the two months I've had them. I love fbs, but am wondering if I should try bgs, so both boys can wear them. DH is a wool freak (ok so am I!).

Never had BGs so cannot help you there, but how about premium prefolds? Both boys can wear them and you will get a long life from them. You could use a snappi or pins to fasten if you have longies or pull-one wool covers.

You could try a few kinds of fitteds off the FSOT to see what else you like. I haven't used BGs, and premiums are too bulky for my ds too. Medium fitteds might fit both boys...?

They probably would. Their waists are pretty close in size b/c my 18 month recently thinned out as he got taller. I really l ike the thirsties pfs- so I was thinking of trying their fitteds too.

I say go to FTF (Fair Trade Family ) on HC for longies. She has great prices, excellent costumer service and a decent turn around time. Just email her regarding customs.

I was going to suggest placing an infant trifolded inside your premiums (or get some Thirsties), that'll make them last a bit longer and help "fill" him out and fit into Premiums a bit better (also may want to try a different fold). Once you get wool you could still use your FB at night if you wish with the wool over it, sounds silly but a lot of us actually do that. I don't do OS dipes so I am not much help there and we don't get the best fit with our KL1's so we won't get any KL2's.
