What vegies to start with?

Well, my DS is 6mo and I am thinking of slowly starting vegies. Not sure which ones are best to start with (easiest on the LO's digestive sys). Also at what age/point did you start fruits, meats..... I really wanted to EBF for at least a few more months, but it seem like my milk supply is decreasing, or maybe its just not enough nutrition for my ds because he is constantly hungy, and its not a growth spurt because i've been dealing with this for almost a month. I've tryed rice cereal, but wanna start on vegies. I plan to get only organic ones and puree for him. Thanks!!

Re: What vegies to start with?

I hear a lot of parents starting with avocado, banana, and/or sweet potato

check out these websites for some good info: www.kellymom.com & www.wholesomebaby.com

sweet tatters, peas and green beans are good for the first ones...not as likely to be allerigic to those, ds is just starting as well, so i have looked into it a little
