Re: Television?

Jackson is 8 months old and he watches it some. He loves Curious George (the first 5 minutes) and Praise Baby DVDs, and Baby Einstein DVDs. He only "watches" about... oh... 30 minutes a day absolute tops. Normally it's about 15 minutes, I guess.

To me, everything in moderation. Yes, sitting an infant in from of the tv for hours a day would be bad. Having my son watch a Praise Baby for 15 minutes while I get something folded, or vacuumed, etc is NOT going to hurt him.

I have the tv on a lot here, background noise, but I'm trying to stop. I do let the 22m old I watch watch Handy Manny (if he's here that early), Backyardigans, and The Wiggles. We watch Charlie and Lola too, but that's mostly for me, he doesn't like it.

Tiffany, Mama to the incredible JM (3.25.06) , NC (7.28.10) and EH (9.23.13)
We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.
