TMI Question sorry

I should know the answer to this question, this is #5 for me. For the past 2 weeks I've been 3cm 50% effaced. Well last night I had some really good contractions for an hour or so, but they fizzled. This am, I've had a lot of bloody show, kind of crampy. Out of the other 4 I've never had this.

Any ideas if this means labor soon, or still forever away. I'm just past 37 weeks. And the last 2 came before 38 weeks.

Thanks for any info ladies. Like I said I feel like I should know this answer but don't. I'd love to hear your stories.

My guess is you are in early labor. I bet you are having some mild ctx and don't even realize it.

Re: TMI Question sorry

I would guess it's your mucus plug, which usually means you won't have much longer. However, I know many moms that have lost the mucus plug and not delivered for up to 1 month later. Everyone is different. I bet it won't be too much longer for you though. Good luck!

Re: TMI Question sorry

I'm still here. I had a little more in the night. My back aches and I'm crampy but nothing to write home about so to speak. I guess I just play the waiting game now.

Braxton Hicks are good though. But like I said ther's nothing regular. And in my last pregnancies I've been known to walk around at 4-5 cm and not know I'm in labor until the contractions are a good 3 minutes apart. Comes on quick.

Hopefully soon, no hospital on Christmas.

Thanks ladies.
