Allergic to diaper rash cream??

Anyone else have this problem? Every time I put diaper rash cream on my son, by the time we change his diaper again his rash has ended up spreading and getting white heads no it! If I wash it all off really well and just dust a little powder on it to kill the dampness it all goes away in less than a day. Needless to say we don't use cream on him anymore and just use a little powder when he gets red but I found it so weird.

Syrus is the same way. I haven't found a cream yet that hasn't done that too him. We've tried so many kinds, even the generics, but nothing works, so we just use powder and let him go diaperless for 20 minutes a day when he's getting a rash. It clears up by the next morning usually, but he hasn't had many, mostly just redness.

I wonder if he's sensitive to petroleum-based products? Or perfumes/fragrances? Hmmm... glad you found a solution, though!

I have the same prob with dd#2. I have to take her to the doc to have a prescription prescribed for her, Or if it isn't to bad we just use good old fashion corn starch. That I have found works the best.
