Flat question

I bought some flats off of FSOT and they're really thin.. Do they puff up like CPF's do when you wash them?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they do not.

Only slightly, definitely not like pfs. Mine are still pretty flat and I've had them for months.

Re: Flat question

No they won't. There's really nothing there to fluff up! Some will shrink up actually, like the gauzier flats. I personally like the "cheap" Gerber flats as they are a bit more thick and hold their shape better. I tri-fold the top down about three inches to use with a snappi, then add a pf as a doubler, in a simple angel fold. I am up to learn more effective flat-folds out there, so if anyone has any linkies please pass them along! I love flats, super easy to wash and dry and can be used for multiple ages and sizes!

Here you go:

I have some Gerber flats that are sooo soft, but they arn't as absorbant as my Baby Textiles. Then I have some Gerber's that are more like cheese cloth and barely hold a thing. What is bad is they are both labled birdseye with no distinction between the two, but they are very different.
