Quick -- cookie icing recipe

I'm about to make my Christmas sugar cookies and I'm thinking about making icing for them but I don't have a recipe. Anyone have a good recipe?

Nevermind -- I decided to not do icing afterall and they came out yummy!!

for the future... a bit of powdered sugar (about 1/2 cup), a touch of milk to make it creamy (about 2TBSP), mix it out till it's creamy/fluffy... seperate into different bowls, add 2-3 drops of food coloring for color... there ya have it.

We do 1/2 cup butter or shortening... and then powdered sugar until the right consistancy. you can also add coconut, lemon, etc extract for a little flavoring.. that's if you're going to ice with bags and tips... pretty fatening, but really good.

i do powdered sugar, a bit of vanilla extract for flavor, a little butter and a touch of milk. best thing ever on buttercookies, yum.
