Okay, so I want to try to do this....just on one dipe to start. What is the name of the tool I need to get to do snaps, and where can I track one down?

Other tips welcome. Thanks.

hey, that's helpful I would have just called it "snappy thing" and I don't think that would have gotten me that far.

Re: converting velcro to snaps

those snap presses are really expensive. www.snapsource.com has a cheap snap setter that you use to hammer the snaps in for only 9 bucks, it's worked great for me.

snap hammers are hard but presses are expensive. go to thesnapstore.com or if you are interested in the press apply for the yahoo! group notionsupply- serena is the moderator and sells them for 135$ ppd but that includes 1000 complete snaps... You can rarely find them used and if you can they are not much less than new... so if you do get one and find that you don't like it, you will get pretty much all of your money back out of it. there is also a site like usasnap.com or something that sells them... good luck!

Notionsupply through yahoo groups as PP mentioned is great. The prices are very competitive too.
