Ouch!

I dunno if DS is "nibbling" or what, but since last night, my left boob hurts when he nurses to sleep... it kinda feels like he's biting a lil but I'm not sure.. my breast looks fine so could it be anything else or probably just his lil chompers? lol (he has SEVEN teeth) lol





ETA: My breast is still VERY tender when he nurses... I'm wondering if he got me good at night, or if it could be some other problem please help!

When I got super tender it was a plugged duct, both times. Have you felt for a lump at all?

My son nibbles on me when he is teething. I've noticed little teeth marks on the side of my nipple. He tends to do this when I am somewhat unconscious in the morning. I gently remove him during the day when I am aware of it. Don't know if that really helps. Good luck mama.

I guess I should have specified, it's my nipple that is sore not the whole breast, no plugged duct either

he could of had a lazy latch one night and "bruised" the nipple. Should go away in a few days

Yeah, some nights one of the girls doesn't latch quiteright and part of the nipple is sore for a day or two. I'm guessing it's that or he could just be grazing you with a tooth.

If Logan doesn't latch right I can end up with a bruise. Other times, if I don't have him positioned right, his top teeth just rub and leave little marks. If I just move him towards the other side a little, then he doesn't pull so much.
