Do I need to toss these beans????

I soaked some black beans about a week ago, drained them, and didn't end up using them all in the dish I made. I would like to get them out of the fridge. Can I cook them tonight, or did I wait too long??? Thanks!

Yeah, they don't smell bad, but they do have a scent to them. I haven't soaked beans enough to know what their normal post-soak scent is...

When in doubt, throw it out. Seriously, have you ever eaten old beans, it is a tummyache you don't want. I usually follow the local health code rule. . . seven days and it is done.
