i dont want too wean but have to due to surgery and bad infection and antibotics help im upset and hes not ready to stop

I recently weaned my son because I'm pregnant with twins and my milk had dried up. Nursing was soooo painful! He was 29 months old. I have struggled with guilt and sadness over weaning him because I wanted him to wean himself.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Even a few months of breastfeeding is great! Feel good that you did your BEST.

You have to be healthy to take care of your children. Remember that you need this and will be a better healthier mom even if he doesn't understand. My DD doesn't understand a lot, like why she drives backwards, but I still do it bc it's for the best.
