My sister an just decided that we are doing a chocolate one for christmas day dessert - wonder what our traditional father will think of that one.

Another one i really like is hot pot - doing meat/fish in a flavored broth, YUMMY

We like having variety to dip into. Both cheese (app. course) and broth/oil (main course) and of course dessert. We usually take a break before dessert and then have it.

OUr swiss foreign exchange student got me hooked on fondue when I was in highschool. We have three fondue pots that were all handme downs from people that don't /didn't use them.

My favorite is the traditional guyere and emmentaller cheese with bread sausages and veggies for dipping. but I have tried the chocolate and the broth and oil types and like them all.

Haven't met a fondue that I didn't like.
