my alternate c.c. cookies

i made chocolate chip cookies with the chips i had left from the fudge that my dad got me (err..he got the stuff so i could make the fudge. makes more sense LOL). so my kids would stop going and snatching the chips out of the fridge and just eating them.

anyway i hate using a ton of butter, and never do for stuff like banana bread, and stuff like that.

i used applesauce and peanut butter
with about 3/4 whole wheat flour and 1/4 white.

now im just telling myself its okay cause theryre SO much better for you than normal ones!

theyre in the oven but i tried some dough and its sooo good! and i normally hate peanut butter cookies so i was surprised and happy about that

So, how did your kids rate them? Were they good after they were baked? Please let us know how they turned out!

they were fighting over them lol! they werent crispy or anything except a tad where i had buttered the pan but im fine with that.
