Question Should I cut my DD hair?

My little girl is 8 mos. She has decent amount of hair on the top and sides(about 4 in long) but hardly any 1/2 in long on the back. She looks so funny with so much hair everywhere but the back. Its so long is the front it hangs in her eyes. My question is if I cut it all to be the same length would she look funny. I mean she would be almost bald. But then as it starts to grow it would all grow out at the same rate. Make sense. WWYD. She is my first girl so hair it a new concept for me. LOL.

thanks

i wouldnt cut it, just pin up the front with cute clips
my baby just finished her chemo and most of her hair fel out, the front and aroudn the ears and back stayed long and is really thin, buit the rest fell off, it is all now growing fast but is noticably shorter than the sides, i am not cutting hers, and we bought her some new clips form target that are soo cute!

I wouldnt cut it. I would put like a pony at the top of the head or put it one side with a barrett of something. Then when the back grows out it will be all one length and all you have to do is get it trimmed.

Don't cut it! says the mom who didn't cut her dd's hair until she was 4. Put the top up in a pony tail, a la baby Pebbles.

Noooooo!! Don't cut it!! I had 2 dd's with hair exactly like that when they were babies! I just always pulled it up in a pony or 2 with a bow or 2 , lol, and they looked soooo cute!!! It seems when the back started growing out it became one length quicker!

Now, see, I would say cut it!!! But, then again, I have 2 boys, so maybe I just don't "get" it. Maybe it's a girl thing?

My DD's hair is the same, I started just pulling it to the side with a bow, or up on top. If she's not in a squirmy mood I do it like this:

I probably wouldn't cut it in your situation. Clips can probably solve your problem. But if it bothers you, then go for it!
We cut our DDs hair when she was 13 months old and even then it was just a trim for the back because she looked like she had a mullet! (She wore down the sides of her hair more than the back as a baby...I guess the side sleeping was the culprit)
Since that first cut, she has never had another and it is sooo long. I love it! I'm sure her little brother will put gum or candy in it someday though.

I wouldn't. But I have a boy with shoulder length hair so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

I think it would be totally cute in a little ponytail though - make it stick straight up.
