HELP for my friend!!!!

Hi ladies,

My friend is starting to teach her 3yrd old DD about potty learning. The DD was so agaisnt it before we had the potty party for her and she is excited about it. She has all the readiness signs, she tells her mom she has to go and does not fight about sitting on the potty....but here is the problem. She cries when she gets close to peeing on the potty and kicks her legs (she still sits there) and then she cries while she pees...she is happy to get a treat afterward, but my friend hates that she cries everytime.

If she has an accident in her trainers she does not cry. Then yesterday am she held her pee after waking up dry for 3hrs and said she needed a diap to poop so then when she had the diap on she peed right away.

It sounds to me like she is scared to pee on the potty...but I am not sure how to help the LO to overcome that...any suggestions?

Loving wife to Greg. I have a DD (7) and a DS (5), DS (2) and one more on the way! I love CDing, BFing, Natural Birthing, and Homeschooling!
