wow im amazed

my 9 month old shocked me today...
we EC'd my older dd starting at 2 months. she was diaper free by 4.5 months and PL'd 100% by 12 months. due to having two kids, younger dd never sat on a BBLP til 8 months she hasnt had a poopy diaper in 3 weeks so today we didnt put her on the potty before we left. we had a busy day and were running late she always poops in the am upon waking. so she got up at 6:30 am. 3pm rolled around(we forgot the potty at home) and we were eating out. i noticed she was straining and turining red. i jokingly told her to hold it a half hour later we got to dh's work....i took off her diaper expecting a full load and there was one little terd......then she let it all loose but hey, she DID hold it

I wish you would train me how to do the same with Iza

I started EC'ing with her at day 5 and she's still in diapers!

ec rocks!

My ds does similarly a lot-I will notice a tiny spot of poop after a fuss, then I take him to potty and he goes for real.....

Re: wow im amazed

My DS is a "home pooper". When we are out doing errands, even if out for a long time, he won't poop. Then, upon getting onto the potty at home, he goes!

Re: wow im amazed

I know just what you mean about EC-ing child #2. With our daughter, I would watch for cues, take notes on how many times she peed or pooped in the potty versus in a diaper (so I could calculate precisely how much money were saving on unused diapers!), and so on. I have so much less time now! Still, I take DS to the potty every time I change him (it helps that the changing table is two steps away from the toilet), and other times when he puts up a big fuss and I know a poo is coming.
